A Woolly issue

Standard

Inspired by the Amata women’s bird sculptures, the Year 10 Art class will be exploring 3Dimensional forms in Term 3, creating whimsical bird sculptures of their own.  I would like to appeal to the generous St John’s community in asking for any donations of wool – any amount would be greatly appreciated. Perhaps a great time to finish off that winter blanket and see the remains of any wool donated to a creative cause! If you have anything to donate, please let me know ( kwright@stjohns.sa.edu.au ) or drop off at Retreat House reception and let them know it’s for Mrs Wright’s art class. Thanks for your assistance.

  1. Unfortunately I have no idea how to knit, but my mum does (she just made a series of Doctor Who scarves) and she says she has a bit – I’ll bring it in. Whimsical bird sculptures made from wool – looking forward to seeing the end result.
